Hello, my name is Lindsay and I’m a freelance graphic designer. I live with my lovely husband, Derek, and our family on the outskirts of Ipswich near the Suffolk coast.

Chewsi Design History
My love of graphic design started while I was working as a development assistant at a video games company. I worked on two PlayStation titles, first assisting the programmers and building game levels, but I soon found ways to assist the art department in their work.
After leaving the video game industry – the long and demanding hours made having a personal life impossible – I continued my fascination with digital art. I taught myself 3D modelling and graphic design and started my own personal website back in 2001.
I have been responsible for the graphic design on several websites in diverse markets such as weddings, cake decorating and computer software.
Graphic Design Services
Logo Design
Your logo is a visual representation of your business identity, and needs to convey trust, be memorable and appeal to your customers. My logo design process involves:
- Research – Understanding your view of your business is key to a successful logo project. Based on your requirements and ideas, I will also research your business myself to give me a full understanding of what I am representing visually.
- Draw – All my designs start out life as pen on paper. Keeping the design simple ensures it remains organic and helps me build a strong identity for your business.
- Design – I will interpret my concept sketches on the computer. Once the core strength of my design is complete, colour and other embellishments will be added as required.
Icon and Glyph Design
Providing unity for apps, glyph and icons can be designed and created as a set, sharing the same properties and styles. Using a specialised glyph design package I am able to supply glyphs as graphical file format or swift and objective C code for use in iOS apps.
Website Graphics Design
Enhancing and unifying your website design, website headers and graphics provide instant appeal to your visitors. My designs are created to either set the tone of your website or to match your existing style. After studying your website (or planned website design), and the message you are conveying, I will design graphical elements that visually enhance your websites appeal.
Working With Me
- Getting Started – It all begins with you sending me detailed information about your project, including your estimated budget. I will then send you a project questionnaire.
- Your Quotation – Using your completed project questionnaire I will send you a quotation. This will detail the deliverables, estimated delivery date and a total price.
- Working Together – The project will commence upon receipt of a 50% non refundable deposit. I will then begin work and deliver concepts for your approval as detailed in the quotation.
- Completion – Upon receipt of the final 50% payment, all final deliverables will be supplied with all ownership and copyright of the materials becoming yours.
